Personal data processing policy

This document explains what data the site https://getsvodka.ru may receive and how we handle it. There is no personal account or user registration on the site.

1. General provisions

  1. This policy describes how the “Сводка - Новости” website (https://getsvodka.ru) processes visitor data. It is drafted with Russian personal-data rules in mind (Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
  2. The operator of personal data is the administration of “Сводка - Новости”.
  3. The policy applies to all information the Operator may obtain about visitors while they use the site.
  4. By using the site you confirm that you have read this Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the site.

2. Key definitions

  1. Personal data — any information relating directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  2. Processing — any operation with personal data, including collection, storage, use, transfer, anonymization, blocking, deletion or destruction.
  3. Visitor — any person who opens pages on https://getsvodka.ru. Registration and personal accounts are not provided.
  4. Anonymized data — data that cannot identify a person without additional information (for example, aggregated traffic stats).

3. What we process

Because there is no registration, account, payment forms or mandatory questionnaires, the Operator does not collect logins, passwords, full names, passport data or similar account details.

Only the following may be processed:

  1. Technical and anonymized data sent by the browser: IP address, browser type/version, device type, visited pages, visit time, referrer, cookies (if enabled).
  2. Web analytics data (when enabled — Yandex Metrica): anonymized site usage statistics. Google Analytics and similar foreign counters are not used.
  3. Email address and message content — only if you write to us yourself.

4. Purposes

  1. Operating the site and displaying news.
  2. Analyzing traffic and improving structure, speed and usability.
  3. Responding to messages you send on your own initiative.
  4. Preventing abuse and protecting site infrastructure.

5. Legal grounds

  1. Technical and anonymized data are processed based on the Operator’s legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure, and where applicable based on consent expressed via browser settings (cookies / JavaScript).
  2. Email correspondence is processed because you contacted us and we need to reply.

6. Cookies and analytics

  1. The site may use cookies — small files stored on your device — for technical settings and statistics.
  2. You can disable cookies in your browser. Some site features may then work in a limited way.
  3. If Yandex Metrica is connected, Yandex’s own terms apply (Yandex Metrica terms). Google Analytics is not used.

7. Sharing with third parties

  1. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their marketing.
  2. Sharing is possible only with hosting/technical providers as needed to run the site; when required by law or a court; and, if Metrica is used, with Yandex in anonymized / technical form.

8. Storage and security

  1. The Operator takes reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
  2. Technical logs and stats are kept as long as needed for the processing purposes and service settings. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to reply, or until consent is withdrawn.

9. Your rights

  1. You may request information about processing of your personal data and ask for correction, blocking or deletion when the Operator actually processes identifiable data (for example, in email).
  2. To exercise these rights write to hello@getsvodka.ru with the subject “Personal data”.
  3. You may also withdraw consent related to correspondence the same way.

  1. The Operator may update this Policy. The current version is always available at https://getsvodka.ru/en/policy.
  2. Continued use of the site after a new version is published means you accept it.
